We Still Pray Revisited
In August of 2000, “We Still Pray” was born in an effort to retain our religious liberties.
After the court’s ruling concerning “student- led prayer,” the community stood together to pray before area sports events. The community’s symbol of “student- led prayer” had been taken away, but the heart of the people was still to pray.
Today, our country and culture is in a greater crisis. We see the verbal, physical, and visual assaults against faith and symbols of faith. In North Carolina, the NC Secularists and WNC Atheists have bought billboard space in six of our cities. Their goal appears to continue the cleansing of God from our society.
For this reason, “We Still Pray” has met and decided to reactivate our volunteers on this 10th Anniversary of our organization.
Our first project will be based on principle. Truth is a core value for our homes, marriages, children, schools, churches, and government. The truth is that we are a nation founded by people of faith. Our founding fathers intended to remove the government from the church, but they never planned or purposed to remove God, faith, or values from our culture or society.
The truth is that the atheists are attempting to re-educate our children, teens, young adults and families to believe that we are a godless society. This is NOT TRUE!
Be a part of the solution. Read an old history book, 1875-1925. Discover the truth from old school books. We are a people of faith. Share information with friends. Make them aware of the attempts to take God off our coins and currency and out of our hearts.
